[Mentor] Before we jump in, it’s time for CHURCH SHOUT—OUTS! We love seeing you plugged into a local church, so, here’s your chance to give yours some love. What church do you go to, and when do you meet? (Give students and adult volunteers time to share. If you have a dry erase board or poster board, write down the churches and have students take pictures.) Let’s welcome our student host for today! [insert name]
WELCOME & OPEN PRAYER
[Host] Hey everyone! We’re so glad you’re here at First Priority. Today [insert name] is going to talk about how we can share our faith with the world, starting with the people right around us. But before we dive in, let’s take a moment to pray. Let’s pray.
Sample Prayer: God, thank You for bringing us here today. We ask that You speak through [insert name] as they share. Help us understand what it means to live out our faith and show others who You are. Give us courage to share Your love with the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
THE CONVERSATION
[Speaker] We started today with the question, “What’s something you love to do?” That was probably easy to answer because we love talking about what we’re passionate about. But when was the last !me you talked about your faith with someone? (Give a moment for responses and share your own experience.)
Over the next few weeks, we’re going to learn how to talk about our faith with the people around us. The goal is that one day, sharing what Jesus has done in our lives will feel as natural as talking about our favorite sport or hobby.
When we hear “share your faith with the world,” it can feel overwhelming. I mean, there are over 8 billion people on the planet! But Jesus never asked us to reach everyone at once. He told us to start where we are. The people we sit with at lunch, our friends in the group chat, our teammates, and our family. That’s our part of the world.
In Mark chapter 16 verse 15, Jesus said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” That means we’re supposed to talk about the Gospel, the Good News, that Jesus lived, died, was buried, and rose again. That’s the message the world needs. But if we’re honest, sharing that can be hard.
So why does Jesus want us to share Him with the world? Because He knows that every person matters. Jesus sees the brokenness, pain, and confusion in people’s lives and He offers hope, healing, and purpose. He knows that people are searching for something real and He wants them to find that in Him. Sharing our faith isn’t about pushing religion. It’s about pointing people to the One who truly saves, the One who loves them uncondi!onally. Jesus. Maybe we’re nervous.
Maybe we’re afraid of being judged or misunderstood. Or maybe we don’t feel like we have the right words. Some of us might even be wondering if we really know Jesus ourselves yet. But here’s the thing, John chapter 3 verse 17 reminds us why Jesus came: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
Jesus didn’t come to shame people. He came to save them. That’s a message worth sharing. And the best way to share it is to start with the people around us. We don’t need a stage. We don’t need a microphone. We just need to be real about what Jesus has done in our life. That’s why today we’re using “THE FOUR.” It’s a visual reminder you can wear and use to start the conversation.
CONVERSATION STARTER – THE FOUR
[Speaker] We are going to finish up our club time today with our last Help Tool of the school year. (Hold up THE FOUR bracelet. Have the student leader pass out bracelets and cards.) THE FOUR is a bracelet that helps explain God’s story to the world around us.
- Heart – God Loves You: God created us in His image because He loves us and wants a rela!onship with us. (Genesis 1:27 & John 3:16)
- Divide – Sin Separates You: We’ve all gone our own way, so our sin separates us from God. (Romans 3:23)
- Cross – Jesus Rescues You: Jesus took our place. He died, was buried, and rose again so we could be close to God. (Romans 6:23 & Romans 5:8)
- Question Mark – Will You Trust in Jesus? You get to decide. Trusting Jesus starts with believing and praying. (Romans 10:9)
Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10 say, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
If you haven’t trusted Jesus yet, you can start today. And if you already follow Him, this bracelet is a way to start a conversation with someone who doesn’t know Him yet. Which symbol means the most to you and why? (Share yours and allow students to respond. This helps make it personal when you share.) Let’s practice sharing with the person next to us. God Loves You – Sin Separates You – Jesus Rescues You – Will You Trust in Jesus? Ready, set, go!

[Host] Here’s our challenge for the week: wear your bracelet and look for one chance to explain what the symbols mean. Start a conversation. Share your story. Let God use your voice. Let’s pray!
Sample prayer: God, thank You for giving us a message worth sharing. Help us use what we’ve learned to talk about You with confidence. Open our eyes to people who need to know You and give us the boldness to speak when the moment comes. In Jesus’ name, amen.
